The beach

Capo d’Orlando is known for its long beach that stretches from the lighthouse below Monte della Madonna for many kilometers to the territory of the neighboring municipality. Beachgoers can choose between the services offered by some beaches and large stretches of free beach that the municipality equips with showers for bathers.

Along the beach, there is a promenade, which is very popular in the evening, and a bicycle path. The waterfront is also characterized by numerous palm trees that make the landscape even more exotic..

The stretch of coast from the lighthouse to the port (about 2 km) is characterized by small coves and short stretches of beach up to the seaside village of San Gregorio. In this area, the sun is hidden from the afternoon by the cliff above and is therefore more frequented in the afternoon by those who want to go for a jog or simply take a walk in the shade.
